In addition to the Child Sponsorship Program, a different child from the
orphanages/schools in the ICA program is featured each month as the Child
of the Month. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the children
and to share financially for their care.

 January 2012 Child of the Month: Ashley
Ashley is eight years old and another of the newer children living in Casa Bernabe in Vera Cruz, Managua, Nicaragua.
There are currently 60 children living in the Home, one of the orphanages in Nicaragua being supported by ICA through the Child Sponsorship Program.
The children are not only fed and sheltered, but, they also have opportunity to receive an education, experience the Love of Jesus in action and to accept Him as their personal Savior.
Throughout the month, please pray for Ashley and all the children in the Home, as well as the staff and others responsible for their care. Your prayerful and financial support of the ICA ministry is greatly appreciated.

December 2011: Quilt Distribution
These children are holding quilts they received through CASA (Church's Auxiliary for Social Action), a partner agency of Church World Service in India.
We are grateful that the Seekers for Light Society was approved for this program in 2009 and, since that time, has received quilts and blankets for distribution to the children and elderly in this poverty-stricken region of India.
It was through the efforts of ICA personnel who diligently sought this help that the children are now protected from the cold temperatures.
Throughout the month, please pray for all the children in the programs in India, as well as the staff that tends to their daily care.
As always, your prayerful and financial support are invaluable to the ICA ministry.

November 2011 Child of the Month: Jesus Enrique
Jesus Enrique arrived at El Hogar de Niños Emanuel on May 19, 2011. Along with his mother, he was found begging on the street, due to lack of support from his father. He was suffering from malnutrition as well as other health issues related to living in extreme poverty.
Now, in Kindergarten at the Home, he is attentive, cooperative and shows no signs of emotional problems.
Throughout the month, please pray for Jesus, as well as the other children in the Home and the staff who cares for them. As always, your prayerful and financial support is greatly appreciated.
