In addition to the Child Sponsorship Program, a different child from the
orphanages/schools in the ICA program is featured each month as the Child
of the Month. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the children
and to share financially for their care.

 June 2010 Child of the Month: Nayheli
Nayheli is one year old, born February 19, 2009. On February 8, 2010, she and three other infants became the first residents in the new nursery at El Hogar de Niños Emanuel in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
When Nayheli arrived at the Home, she was severely malnourished and suffering from many related problems and her activity was minimal for her age. Within the few months since her arrival, she has become a healthy, happy, playful child who is the apple of everyone's eye. Thanks to the loving care she is receiving, things are much brighter in her life.
As Child of the Month please keep Nayheli, as well as all the children in the Home, in your prayers throughout the month. Your prayerful and financial support are invaluable to the ministry of ICA.

May 2010 Child of the Month: Juan Carlos
Juan Carlos is seventeen years old, born December 14, 1992 in Tijuana, Mexico where he lives with his parents and three sisters. Through the New Millennium Project and the ICA Child Sponsorship Program, Juan received an education and will graduate at the end of the 2010 school year.
ICA sponsorship funds help provide necessary items for school which include uniforms, shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies. The financial support provided by the sponsors is greatly appreciated.
As Child of the Month, please pray for Juan and all the children living in the poverty-stricken area of Tijuana. Your prayerful and financial support are invaluable to this ministry.

April 2010 Child of the Month: Alfredo
Alfredo is fourteen years old, born September 20, 1995. in Nicaragua. With family unable to care for them, he and his two sisters were taken to Casa Bernabe in Puerto Cabezas in 2001.
Along with the other teenagers in the Home, he is receiving a Christian education while learning responsibilities. He enjoys sports, especially baseball.
Please pray for Alfredo throughout the month, as well as all the children in the Home and the staff that daily shares the Love of Jesus with them.
