In addition to the Child Sponsorship Program, a different child from the
orphanages/schools in the ICA program is featured each month as the Child
of the Month. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the children
and to share financially for their care.

 March 2010 Child of the Month: Chennamma
Chennamma lives in the small isolated tribal colony of Pedapudi Village in Guntur District, India. Recently converted to Christianity, the leaders of the community expressed, through their pastor, a need for education.
As a result, the Seekers for Light Society has established another Home and school for vagabond and poor children living in deplorable conditions. Desiring to help with this much-needed project, one of the elders has given his small house to get the program “Education on their doorstep” started.
As Child of the Month, please pray for Chennamma and the other children in Pedapudi who will benefit from this opportunity for a better way of life. Please pray, also, that ICA will have the financial resources to help support this important ministry.

February 2010 Child of the Month: David
David is eight years old, born December 28, 2001. He and his siblings, two sisters and a brother, have been living at El Hogar de Niños Emanuel in San Pedro Sula, Honduras since September 2007.
David is currently in the second grade at Escuela Sinai. He is enthusiastic about his studies, helpful in the Home and has a good relationship with the rest of the children. His favorite subject is math. He is a special little boy with a gentle demeanor and a playful spirit.
As Child of the Month please keep David and his siblings, as well as all the children in the Home, in your prayers throughout the month. Your prayerful support is invaluable to the ministry of ICA.

January 2010 Child of the Month: Kumar C.
Kumar is a young boy who has been in the care of Seekers for Light Society in Guntur, India for many years. He is now studying 9th Standard and is in good health. A typical lad, he always shows interest in playing games.
With the support of ICA, the SFLS has been reaching far out into the remote villages to offer help in the areas of health and education while sharing the Love of Jesus.
Please pray for Kumar and all the children of India throughout the month, as well as the staff that is dedicated to bringing hope to the needy.
