In addition to the Child Sponsorship Program, a different child from the
orphanages/schools in the ICA program is featured each month as the Child
of the Month. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the children
and to share financially for their care.

 June 2008 Child of the Month: Kenia - HONDURAS
Kenia is twelve years old, born June 13, 1996. She and her sister and two brothers were taken to the Emanuel Children’s Home (El Hogar de Niños Emanuel) in September 2007 after Juvenile Authorities considered them to be in social risk because of possible parental abuse.
Kenia has adjusted to her new home in a Christian environment and is enjoying the activities of school where she is in the fourth grade.
As Child of the Month, please pray for Kenia and her siblings throughout the month, as well as all the children in the Home. Your prayerful and financial support is invaluable to the ICA ministry.

May 2008 Child of the Month: Jeyson Martinez - NICARAGUA
Jeyson is eleven years old, born December 3, 1996 in Nicaragua. He and his brother have been in Casa Bernabe in Puerto Cabezas since 2003. They were taken to the Home because their mother is deceased.
He is now in fourth grade where his favorite subject is Math and favorite sport is soccer.
Throughout the month, please pray for Jeyson and all the children in the Home who need our love and support, both spiritually and financially. The need for sponsors is unending.
It is your support that enables the ICA ministry to children to continue. Thank you for your loving kindness.

April 2008 Child of the Month: Aluku - UGANDA
Aluku is now five years old and lives in Karamoja, Uganda. She is one of the children being cared for through Karamoja Childcare Ministry (KCM), a Christian-based ministry founded in 2005 to address the challenges of children’s rights, poor education, poor parental care, child abuse, malnutrition and HIV/AIDS.
The Director of KCM was himself a recipient of help from ICA during his childhood and youth and has now dedicated his life to helping children in his community who have no hope. Through ICA, you too, can be a part of this ministry.
As Child of the Month, please pray for Aluku and all the children who need our love and support, both spiritually and financially. Your faithfulness to the ICA program is greatly appreciated.
